Kotatsu Anime Festival Line-Ups Confirmed in Cardiff and Aberystwyth

The Welsh 'Kotatsu' festival will run on September 30 to October 1 at Cardiff; from October 20 to 22 at Aberystwyth; and from November 10 to November 16 at Bangor. The Bangor line-up is TBC.
The Cardiff line-up is as follows: the venue is the Chapter cinema in Canton, Cardiff.
Saturday September 30
11.30 a.m - Chieri and Cherry - a 54-minute stop-motion film, directed by Makoto Nakamura, about a girl (Cherry) and the stuffed animal (Chieri) who is her friend.
1 p.m. The First Slam Dunk, directed by Takehiko Inoue
5 p.m. Miss Hokusai, directed by Keiichi Hara - preceded by a live shamisen performance by the musician Jero11
7.30 p.m. Macross Plus Movie Edition (pictured right), directed by Shōji Kawamori
Sunday October 1
11.30 a.m. - Blue Thermal directed by Masaki Tachibana
2 p.m. - Liz and the Blue Bird, directed by Naoko Yamada
4 p.m. - Break of Dawn, directed by Tomoyuki Kurokawa - preceded by a 10-minute film, NICO/AGONY, directed by Umoto Yuuji
7.30 p.m. - Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time, directed by Hideaki Anno
The Aberystwyth line-up is as follows: the venue is the Aberystwyth Arts Centre.
