Manga tells story of characters in game franchise working at TV station

The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine published the final chapter on Saturday of Yū Kirai's Tales of TV manga based on Bandai Namco Entertainment's Tales of game series.

Kirai launched the manga in 2011 in the Viva Tales of Magazine, and later switched the series to Dengeki Maoh. Kadokawa shipped the fourth compiled volume in March 2017. The manga's fifth compiled volume will ship in March, and will include new pages drawn just for the volume.

The four-panel gag manga features characters from various games in the franchise working at a fictional television station.

Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition, the latest release in the franchise, arrived on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11. The game is a remastered version of Bandai Namco Entertainment's Tales of Vesperia role-playing game. The Tales of Crestoria smartphone game will launch in Japanese and English this year.
