KENN, Shōta Aoi perform "SuperHighSchool" song for March 14 PS Vita game

The official Twitter account for Spike Chunsoft's Kenka Banchō Otome 2nd Rumble!!, the PlayStation Vita game sequel to the Kenka Banchō Otome PS Vita game, began streaming a video for the game on Monday. The video reveals and previews the game's theme song "SuperHighSchool" by KENN and Shōta Aoi as their respective characters Totomaru Minowa and Takayuki Konparu. Chiyomaru Shikura composed and wrote the lyrics to the song.

The game will ship on March 14. The game's limited edition includes a soundtrack CD, a drama CD, an art book that also includes a short story and a comic booklet, "Thank You" message cards, and "sleeping face" snapshots.

The sequel will be set one year after the previous game. The new character Tenma Sagara (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) will join the cast of returning characters.

Spike Chunsoft released the original game for PS Vita in Japan in 2016. The Kenka Banchō Otome: Kanzen Muketsu no My Honey (My Perfect Honey) sequel fan disc, which focuses on the main five characters after their romantic endings, shipped in 2017.

The Kenka Banchō Otome: Koi no Battle Royale manga adaptation by Chie Shimada ran in Hakusensha's The Hana to Yume magazine and ended in 2017. Viz Media released the series' two compiled book volumes in English. The Kenka Banchō Otome: Girl Beats Boys anime adaptation also premiered in 2017. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub.

Kenka Banchō Otome is itself a spinoff of Spike's larger Kenka Banchō action adventure video game franchise. Spike released the first game in 2005, and the latest game, Kenka Banchō 6: Soul & Blood, shipped for the Nintendo 3DS in 2015.
