Tatsunoko Productions Takes 50 Million Net Loss in 2017

The Japanese government's Kanpō paper reported on Wednesday that Tatsunoko Productions took a net loss of 50 million yen (about US$453,200) during the 2017 fiscal year.
Tatsunoko Productions recently produced the Infini-T Force franchise to celebrate the company's 55th anniversary, and is also producing a separate 55th anniversary original anime project.
The company's recent productions include the PriPara franchise, which includes Kiratto Pri☆Chan, the newest anime in the franchise, as well as the Gekijōban PriPara & Kiratto Pri☆Chan: Kira Kira Memorial Live (PriPara & Kiratto Pri☆Chan The Movie ~Sparkling Memorial Live~) film that opened on May 5. The company also produces the King of Prism franchise, which has the upcoming King of Prism: Shiny Seven Stars theatrical and television anime projects.
