"HD vibration" game featuring player as masseuse launches digitally in Japan this year

Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games opened a website on Monday for the Shinobi Refle -Senran Kagura- Nintendo Switch game. The site began streaming the game's opening anime video on Monday.

The "Senran Kagura x HD Vibration" game will launch as a download-only title on the Nintendo Switch this year for 926 yen (about US$8.35). Marvelous describes the game:

Suddenly, "you" are called to the classroom after school. There she waits, but somehow the atmosphere that hangs in the air is different from usual. She takes "your" hand and conveys her feelings through the beating in her chest... Everything starts there.

Marvelous lists the genre of the game as a "busty heart-throbbing chronicle." The game stars Hitomi Harada as Asuka. In the game, players will have to use various massage techniques on Asuka. Depending on where the player touches Asuka, she will transform into different "moods" and appearances. For example, Asuka will be able to take on the form of a club senior, younger sister, idol, or home tutor.

Marvelous established its Honey∞Parade Games subsidiary company on May 9. The new company's main focus is the production and promotion of the Senran Kagura series, but it also aims to create "next generation" IP. Kenichirō Takaki, who previously established the Honey∞Parade Games studio within Marvelous, now serves as representative director for the new company.

Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games announced four other new Senran Kagura games, as well as a second season of the Senran Kagura television anime series, earlier this month.
