Square Enix to Launch Figureheads Ace Arcade Game

Square Enix announced on Thursday that it will launch a new arcade game titled Figureheads Ace in Japanese arcades on June 21.
The free-to-play mecha shooter game Figureheads launched for PC in Japan in March 2016 after a closed beta test and open beta test. The game then launched on PlayStation 4 in March 2017.
Figureheads Ace will take place in the same world as Figureheads but will have different rules. Players can gather parts to customize a robot called "2Foot" and compete online in three vs. three matches. The game allows the player to install a "Figurehead" as the "brain" of their 2Foot — these Figureheads provide the robot with special skills and will voice updates on the battle's progress. They appear as girls and are designed by various illustrators.
