Nippon Ichi Software's Exile Election Game Inspires Stage Play

The official Twitter account for Nippon Ichi Software's Tsuihō Senkyo (Exile Election) game announced on Thursday that a stage play based on the game has been greenlit. The play will run from August 23-27 at Shinjukumura Live in Tokyo. Guiya Ohda is writing the script.
The play will feature characters that appear in the game as well as original cast. The cast includes Mai Imade, Ruka Hashimoto, Masahiro Sugie, Sōichirō Takaki, Kiyoshi Ohno, Yuzuki Akiyama, Aya Mizusaki, Ayaka Arima, Tomoyuki Fukuda, Naruya Hagiwara, Keisuke Igara, Miyū Mogami, Lalapi, Lulupi, Azu Sakura, Toshiki Oda, Keito Kiriyama, Tsuji Toshiki, Seina Tanaka, Kazue Toya, and Rina Amikura.
The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game shipped in Japan on Thursday.
The game is set in an amusement park called "Aliceland," where 12 people are trapped and forced to participate in the "Exile Election" death game run by a mysterious doll called Alice. The game's protagonist Kaname Ichijō seeks to find and exact revenge against the nine people who voted to "exile" and kill his sister in the first election.
