NIS America began streaming trailers for the Touhou Genso Wanderer (Fushigi no Gensōkyō -The Tower of Desire-) and Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet games on Monday and Wednesday. The Touhou Genso Wanderer trailer also includes a European version (with PEGI ratings).

NIS America describes the story of Touhou Genso Wanderer:

One day, Reimu Hakurei is visiting Rinnosuke Morichika at his shop, Kourindo. He shows her one of his prized possessions, the golden sphere. However, when she touches it, it unleashes a mysterious beam of light. Rinnosuke starts acting strange, and a giant tower now stands where Kourindo used to be. The population of Gensokyo has also been replicated by clones who attack people on sight. As the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, it is Reimu's duty to resolve this latest incident and bring peace back to Gensokyo. Along the way, she is joined by Futo Mononobe, who has recently set out on a quest to become a first class sage. With her partner in tow, can Reimu make her way through the dungeons of the tower and put an end to this incident?

NIS America will release the game in North America and Europe in early 2017. The game will be available both physically and digitally on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Aqua Style's 2009 RPG debuted for PlayStation Vita in Japan last June. The game is part of "Play, Doujin," an initiative to bring dōjin games (such as fan-made Touhou Project titles) to PlayStation platforms.

NISA describes the Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet game:

Developed by CUBETYPE, Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet is a shoot 'em up that takes place in the Touhou universe. Select from 10 playable girls and dive straight into bullet-hell! Reminiscent of a fighting game, Touhou Genso Rondo takes the traditional shoot'em up genre and infuses it with a 1v1 battle scenario, allowing for a unique gameplay experience. Learn more about the Touhou characters in Story Mode as you progress through the game, blasting your opponent with a barrage of beautiful bullets. Or if you are feeling confident, jump into online battle mode and showcase your skills to players on PSN™.

NIS America will release the game in North America on September 6 and in Europe on September 9 for the PlayStation 4.

NISA is also offering a limited edition of the game that will include: a collector's box, an original soundtrack, a full color hardcover art book, an art print set, a set of 12 pins, and bonus DLC.

Dōjin circle CUBETYPE originally released the game on PC, and Mediascape released the game on PS4 in Japan last June as part of its "Play, Doujin" project. The PS4 version comes with balance adjustments and a full HD upgrade, as well as additional scenarios, event CG, and characters.
