Encore Films to Open 2nd Live-Action Assassination Classroom Film in Indonesia

1st film opened in Indonesia last October

Film distributor Encore Films announced on Friday that it will show Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: Sotsugyō-hen (Assassination Classroom: Graduation Edition~), the second live-action Assassination Classroom (Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) film. Encore Films did not provide an opening date.

The film will open in Japan on March 25.

The film has cast Mirei Kiritani (seen below, top photograph) as Aguri Yukimura, and Hiroki Narimiya (below photograph) as Kōtarō Yanagisawa.

The film has also cast Tsuyoshi Abe (below photograph) as Red Eye.

The film has also cast an actor for the role of the original "God of Death." [highlight white text to read spoilers] Arashi band member Kazunari Ninomiya, who is voicing Koro-sensei for the live-action films, will play the God of Death. Narimiya and Kiritani will play their characters in a flashback scene that shows how the the God of Death turned into Koro-sensei.

The first live-action film adaptation opened in Japan on last March. The film opened in Indonesia last October.

Yūsei Matsui's original manga centers around a class of misfits who repeatedly attempt to kill their teacher to save the world. Unfortunately, their teacher is a bizarre superpowered creature that has already destroyed the moon.

Elex Media Komputindo released the manga's fourth compiled book volume in Indonesia last September, and will release the fifth volume on Wednesday. The first television anime series premiered in Japan last January, and Animax Asia began airing the series on January 4. A second anime series premiered in Japan on January 7.
