Compile Heart announced its new PlayStation 4 game Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force at the SCEJA Press Conference 2014 on Monday. The game is slated for 2015.
The segment from the press conference described the game:
This is the story of godly weapons left on earth by their creators. They are known as Furies. Now that the Vile God has awoken. They will have to write a new page in mankind's History... Or face annihilation... To change fate, one needs to walk the darkest path...
Compile Heart released the turn-based role-playing game Fairy Fencer F in Japan on October 10 for PlayStation 3. NIS America will release the game on September 16 in North America and on September 19 in Europe. The game is a collaboration between Yoshitaka Amano (Final Fantasy, Vampire Hunter D), musical composer Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon, Guin Saga, Ah! My Goddess: The Movie) and his Earthbound Papas band, and the team behind Compile Heart's Neptunia games.
