Siren Visual acquires UN-GO, to be streamed on ANN.au.

This eleven part TV series will begin airing on Fuji TV's Noitamina slot on the 13th of October and will stream through Anime News Network's video service.
UN-GO (pronounced 'ango') follows Shinjurou Yuuki, the 'Last Great Detective' in futuristic post-war Tokyo. He is considered by the public to be no more than a failed detective as classic detective work involving an individual's deductive reasoning is considered no match for modern technology. Despite this, Shinjurou feels he has no choice but to follow his own intuition.
UN-GO is directed by Seiji Mizushima (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist), written by Shō Aikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Gad Guard) and animated by studio BONES (Fullmetal Alchemist, Eureka Seven) with character design helmed by illustrators pako (Scared Rider Xechs) and Yun Kouga (Mobile Suit Gundam 00).
Siren CEO Eric Cherry says of the license, “everyone at Siren has been anticipating UN-GO since we learned about it. BONES is behind some of the strongest anime franchises in history and so we feel a humbling sense of responsibility to present UN-GO to the Australian audience in a way that will appeal our existing customers and help us reach new ones.”
