You're Not Sadako When You're Hungry in Snickers' Latest TV Ad

Snickers candy bar's latest ad campaign has shown what a bad case of 'hangry' looks like. This Super Bowl ad this year, for instance, showed Marilyn Monroe as a disgruntled Willem Dafoe until she satiated her hunger with a Snickers. Another showed Betty White getting tackled in a game of football until she has a Snickers and transforms back into "Mike." Each commercial ends with the phrase, "You're Not You When You're Hungry."
Well, what if "you" is horror icon Sadako from The Ring franchise? In Snicker's latest ad, Japanese Academy Award winning actress Yoshiko Mita has a rough time coming out of the TV screen when she's hungry.
The Sadako vs. Kayako horror film opened in Japan on June 18 and the Blu-ray and DVD will go on sale in Japan on December 2. Actress Elly Nanami plays Sadako in that film.
Paramount Pictures is releasing of its Rings live-action horror film on February 3, 2017.
