Trivia:
The Tsukishima family's pet cat's name Nomo is very likely a direct reference to baseball player Hideo Nomo, the first Japanese player to permanently relocate to the US Major Leagues. Given the theme of the show and the significance of the player it is logical to conclude that the choice of names is not coincidental.
Episode 40: There is a parody of the anime/manga "MÄR" on the cover of the magazine Kou is reading while waiting for Akane.
In the title scenes in the opening sequence of the series, the left leaf of the clover that represents Wakaba is grayed out. However, in the last episode, all the leaves of the 4-leaf clover are colored, signifying a sense of completion in the story.
