Ys: Memories of Celceta, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity Games Launch on PC in July (Updated)

posted on by Karen Ressler

XSEED Games announced the PC release dates for Ys: Memories of Celceta and Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity on Friday. Ys: Memories of Celceta will debut on Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store on July 25. Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity will debut on Steam on July 11.

The PC release of Ys: Memories of Celceta will include a digital PDF version of "Adol's Travel Journal," which was available with the PlayStation Vita version's limited edition. The PC version will have improved visuals "with a wide range of HD resolutions," mouse support, unlocked framerates, and customizable control bindings. The release will also include a Boss Rush mode, which features Adol fighting either alone or as part of a full party in a timed fight against an increasingly difficult lineup of bosses.

Nihon Falcom originally released the game in Japan on the PlayStation Vita in September 2012, and XSEED Games released the game in North America in November 2013. NIS America released the game in Europe in February 2014.

The Steam release of Ankake Spa's Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity (Touhou Kōkishin, or Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity) will include support for resolutions up to 4K, and a new "Bullet Hell" difficulty level.

XSEED Games released the 3D action role-playing game for PS4 on September 20, 2016. Mediascape released the game on the PlayStation 4 in Japan in February as part of its "Play, Doujin" project.

Update: Added trailers for both games.
