Although the designs are alright, I'm pretty disappointed that Kinu Nishimura isn't drawing the characters for this game as she did the previous two games' design.

So based on returning voice actors, Diana is Luna and MAJOR VIRTUE'S LAST REWARD SPOILERS spoiler[Sigma is getting K's voice]. Happy to see the new voice actors joining the cast though! I wonder if Q could possibly be Quark, assuming he's the helmeted overalls thing? The voice actor is different so maybe not, but if they say he grew up a little that could explain the change.
Excited to hear more about this installment though! |

Isn't this in the past, though? I think Quark was born after the apocalypse. So Katsura's and Gintoki's voice actors are on this. And Daisuke Ono? Heck yes! This game is looking promising. I only hope we'll get a happy ending... |

Ah, you're probably right. VLR's story was trippy and it's been 3 years since I played it :X I also haven't been keeping up with the ZTD news closely, I just happened to catch this one today. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it (more VLR spoilers), spoiler[Luna was an android, wasn't she? So maybe Diana is the real person she was based on? Or perhaps an earlier model? Would certainly explain the name change. Interesting.] EDIT: Apparently my conjectures are already known facts >.> Note to self: re-read VLR before playing ZTD, haha. The cast of characters and the seiyuu are making me hyped as hell! I can't wait for this game. I'm a huge fan of VLR. It's definitely one of my favorite VNs of all time. Still heartbroken over the fact that Europe is only getting a digital release, but I guess I'll have to live with it. I hope they're keeping the Japanese voices though. They probably will, because VLR's EU release only had the Japanese dub. |

So excited for this game and I'm really thankful that that us western fans supporting the series was enough to get this made as the series sold very poorly in Japan (not too often does a sequal to a japanese visual novel get made because of western fans and not japanese fans heh) Glad that its going back to the darker tone that 999 had too.
Cant wait to see the English VA cast! spoiler[ and hopefully they can get back the same English VA's for the couple returning characters! ] |
