Good. The Otaku pandering comes stateside. Good lord, is "Persona 5" out yet?

The ultimate question is if Miku will end up being dubbed over for the entirety of this dlc, if her dialogue will only be dubbed over, or if no dubbing will be done, as I do know all the songs in this game retain their original vocals based on the english trailers. (But if Miku were to be dubbed into english then my vote hands down goes to Alexis Tipton, she can definitely sing, she has partaken in California dubbing with Blazblue Alter Memory + Tales Of Zestiria, and with all of the goofy and peculiar Miku fanart scattered about on the internet she is even more befitting for the role, that and po pi po).

No need to be so negative.

I just feel like Atlus was really selling out with this one. Adding a Hatsune Miku DLC just seems like a desperate attempt to attract more players.

Miku is great addition to the list, who else would be diverse enough to contribute in a rhythm game that was based on rpg,

I thought that was Hatsune Miku's schtick: To cross over with completely unexpected stuff.

I don't really see why Atlus should be blamed for selling out, considering bringing Miku into something else is not exactly unique.

Persona/atlus isn't selling out... all they did was add a character/song from another ip that actually makes sense. You can officially call them a 'sell out' when they go into the pachinko route.

Isn't there already a P4 Pachinko?

I'm just saying that "Persona 5" would have been released by now if Atlus didn't keep making all these unnecessary sequels. The spin-offs they made could have been good original IPs, but they instead decide to slap the P4 name on them to sell more copies. When I think a game franchise about summoning demons to do your bidding, I don't think a DDR rip-off. Sure, the soundtrack was okay, but it wasn't worth making an entire game about it. If you wanted an excuse to listen to the soundtrack, it came with the original game. We're getting all of this selling out for a game that was average at best.

There is a Miku English voice bank version already so no dubbing will be necessary. However having said that I find songs composed for Japanese rarely sound the same, if not better than the original even when translated and English Miku singing it.

If I remember correctly, P4:DAN was originally going to be co-produced by the same company who do the Miku Miku Dance games before Atlus took over the project completely (or something along those lines.) So putting Miku in could just be Atlus way of compensating for dropping them from the project?

And even if that's not the case, the fact P4:DAN was affiliated with MMD at all meant it was given that Miku will be a part of it some how. It's less selling out, and more a tribute to the company, or even a gift from them. And considering it's a DLC, it's an optional gift.

I feel like everyone's forgetting that Sega owns Atlus and the Project Diva games, and Sega seems to like random crossovers and cameos.

And it's not like crossovers like this are new to SMT either, there was the DRRR!! thing in Devil Survivor 2 and the infamous "Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series" from SMT3. As far as I can tell, this whole thing just seems like business as usual.

You know this how?

What sequels? Arena and Q aren't sequels.

Yeah good original IP's you still wouldn't play.

Which is weird since what you mention describes the main SMT games not the Persona games (which can actually get away with having fighting game and rhythm based spin-offs).

You do know that DAN has a remixed soundtrack that was made specifically for this game right?

Gee I sure hope that when Persona 5 does drop it's everything you expect it to be.
