I would love to see this come to the west, including other games in the Hakuouki series.

Aksys and Rising Star games have already released 4, with 3 being slight variations on the original across the PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and PS3. (Though personally I think they milked this too much and should have instead released the fandisc and SSL.)

Sadly it's doubtful we will see this in the US and UK Anime cry

We may have to come together and pester Aksys to localise! Looking at their track record with this series, as another variation of the original this should be right up their street.

Not to mention I want that PlayStation TV! Very Happy

So tempting! I have a NA original OLED vita and have been tempted to import a 2000 model since there are a variety of colors but this one is really nice and I love Hakuoki

I have the white OLED Vita from the Assassin's Creed bundle that came out a few years ago, but I would love one of these. Hakuoki is one of my favorite visual novels. I doubt it has much chance of seeing a release outside of Japan, though. Sad

I wonder if the Vita version of the game will add anything new. I know the PS3 version has some extra content not in the PSP version, and the iOS/Android version has an extra story scenario exclusive to the mobile version of the game. Yes, I've bought Hakuoki 3 different times. ^^; I wonder how good its chances are of coming to Steam considering Amnesia is on there now. I know Aksys wasn't really involved with Amnesia, but Hakuoki is also an Idea Factory game, and Idea Factory partnered with the mobile company Glozcus for the iOS and Android releases of both Hakuoki and Amnesia even though Aksys localized Hakuoki originally.
