I enjoyed the first 2 OVAs of this, would like to see more. Though, this did catch my eye.

The animation for the first 2 OVAs wasn't good...at all. It didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story, so I do like the sounds of more than 4 episodes.

Also, is Hori-Miya a spin off? I was under the impression that it was an alternative version of the original story. Rather than being a mostly comedic 4-koma like Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, Hori-Miya has comedy but some more romance than it predecessor.

Would like to see either series come out in the west.

It's kind of a remake of the original 4-panel manga, with higher quality art and not written in 4-panel style.

Oh, I hope it could just be a full series anime instead of OVAs already.
The first two OVAs were pretty bland, but I'm hoping a lot from this third one.

^^ That. It is a re-telling with a different artist, not a spin-off. I very much prefer the manga version as opposed to the original 4-panel web version. The art is really good and the story concentrates more on the romance than the 4-panel, which has more of a humor emphasis, from what I have been able to read. (Not that the manga version is not funny...)

I wasn't impressed with the first two OVAs, but I like the the comments about "episode four onward". Very promising.

However, I would really love to see Horimiya turned into a TV anime... (With art based on the manga version, not the 4-panel web manga, that is)

Yeah, I found the use of spin-off to be a strange selection.

I seem to be the only one who has posted that enjoyed the story in the first 2 OVAs. Laughing

Thought they were funny/cute, even though the animation was poor.

Sought out some Horimiya, looks like a manga I could get into. Will wait to see if it ever gets big enough to get licensed. Laughing
