Tsuki Robo eh? Sound promising. I have been following Nakahira's work for just a little over a decade, I really love his early stuff with Alpha and Sakura.
... Although his recent work has had some wonky anatomy, like in Ryu Final, while much more concise stylistically, I wish for the more careful approach in his early works. I am really looking forward to him doing original works again, he is really good with fight scenes. He had given some depth and motivations to characters who are otherwise pretty shallow given their origins, I am wondering what he would come up for an original story. I never actually had a chance to read Hakaima Sadimtsu though, I had only read his street fighter related works and 學園帝國 that I bought back in the days. All of his stuff seen pretty obscure until udon brought his street fighter related stuff over. Udon got serviceable translation, but for some reason something just seem lost compare to the other license version. I was sure that he had done one more work before Hakaima Sadimtsu for some reason. 學園帝國 was the name, but I cannot seen to find information on it other then Taiwanese use book stores. Apparently an collaboration with Hiroi Oji. |
