Honestly, that was my reaction. It kind of seems like somebody in marketing was playing a word connection game to get from a wild west theme, to cowboys, to Cowboy Bebop. I suppose it gets the attention of people who might not otherwise care, but it also seems like enough of a stretch to feel unnatural.
