I really want to be excited, but they should just redub the whole series or not even bother dubbing the movies.

Louis: Dubbing a series that long costs money no one can spend or wants to spend.

Why is TMS premiering the dub for a Detective Conan movie at an event like this but not the Undead Unluck dub? When will that dub even be ready for streaming?

Glad TMS is back to dubbing Conan movies. This would mean Discotek will eventually bring it to Blu-ray (thus this being their most recent anime in terms of premiere they've got thus far [2021]).

Always excited for more dubbed Conan!
I hope Discotek can get a blu-ray for this film out soon as well.

Asking for a dub of all 1000+ episodes is a little ridiculous.
But they are listening and trying to get work done on the TV series. Go watch the 50 episodes they dubbed earlier this year and maybe they'll do more. All we can do is support what they're putting out if we want more from the Conan series over here.

Not the first time they premiered a Conan dub at a convention (see the other recent movies). As a matter of fact, this one was supposed to happen two years ago but got cancelled.

With no explanation or announcement. Just a cover-up. Literally.

It's not at all surprising that they've done it before, nor is it what I'm baffled by in the slightest.

Just please don't cancel it at the last minute again. Please.

I am glad to see that Anime NYC gets to show this even after all this time. Hopefully this means future Conan movies may get a screening there too.

That's cool, although now they're two movies behind. How soon before they get to The Bride of Halloween?

They are dubbing recent episodes slowly but surely (you can watch them on Tubi), but weirdly they only have Conan, Ran, Kogoro, and Kaito Kid's VA's back and recast everyone else with, I think, a Miami dub.

Is it some weird licensing thing that prevents them from doing the earlier episodes? I'm happy to support them anyway, but most people won't want to jump into episode 1000+ of an ongoing series.

I mean, Crunchyroll grinding out all those episodes of One Piece in English lately seems to have not been too much of a problem. But I get it when it comes to Conan. I just hope they even dub more at all now.
