Wow, that's cool to see! I watched the short a couple years ago and thought it was cute, but it felt like the middle 25 minutes of a longer movie (well obviously the longer movie already existed, but hasn't been subbed). I didn't really think much of Midsummer Merry Christmas, but I'm glad that's part of this too. Didn't even know there was a manga adaptation.

Though what I'm wondering is how this is working? According to the Kickstarter everything is already in production to release in the next five days, so what happens if it doesn't get funded? It's not like they can retroactively not release it, and everyone has to have already been paid I assume.

The Kickstarter for Coluboccoro had a dub for this as one of it's stretch goals. One worrying thing about the dub is the highest stretch goal, appear in the dub. What happens if the people that back that are awful? Do they get a refund or will they keep it in anyway.

Given how small the goal is, they might just be assuming that it reaches that goal.

Kinda worrying that they don't list the dub VAs despite the dubbing supposedly being underway. It'd suck to back for that only for them to use cheap no-names... or worse, random Tokyo-area Westerners

This is a really strange way to run things. If they're going to stream the dub to backers on Saturday, it has to be pretty much finished by now. Why not announce the cast to try and have them promote this? What are the three Kickstarters even paying for? It's not like they're offering any physical rewards. They aren't even producing a disc release ... Why three individual Kickstarters anyway?

Just checking on them now, this isn't looking good especially since the Secret of Christmas one is only halfway to the goal. Though again they already showed both films on Christmas and the manga says production is underway so what are we losing by it not being funded?

The Kickstarter campaigns have now all been cancelled/suspended. There is an update titled "Important Decision" which likely explains what the story is, but it's behind a backer only post. Most likely it's either an update about them planning on restarting the campaign with everything compiled into one Kickstarter instead of three, possibly with physical options too as many people suggested, or alternatively they decided to cancel it entirely for some reason or another. Hopefully it's the former.
