Here's hoping he is doing well for himself. I too understand that fear of losing one's senses to disease, to question if we will continue to be ourselves even as our minds betray us. Know that you are not alone, and even if your mind leaves you, your legacy will live on long after we return to dust. In that sense, your mind as it is, it is already immortal.
