Wow. Seriously? A story from the 90s is gonna get a modern animated update? Wooow!
But then again, this title is under 5pb. now, so it does sorta make sense. Shocked

Man, I hope it's good! Very Happy

I wonder how the remake handled the (massive spoiler)spoiler[incest romance that ended up being the Adam and Eve of the universe somehow].

I guess you could write around it, but I'm confused as to how.

subsequent ports of the original game simply replaced the key words indicating spoiler[their relationship] with asterisks

I went poking around VNDB and it looks like they've moeified the designs if that poster is representative. Which is a bit of a shame, really.

I don't believe that's the right term, but I do prefer the original artwork too.

I believe in a prior topic I quipped that I see this happening a lot more; classic VNs being animated regardless of their age. The potential for new IP is just too good to pass up, especially with the modern focus on character and subsequent goods to release to market. Plus if they did get animated back in the day - like with YU-NO - they were usually OVAs or short series with an adult focus. Animation being so, relatively, affordable to make nowadays it's worth doing an modern animated series.

Mid to later 90s is a major hot spot for untapped VN titles as long as the rights are there.
