50K first week drop from the last game for Ace Attorney despite the team up with Aniplex and a much bigger marketing campaign for the game as a result. I heard the game is getting some pretty mixed reviews on the scenario and character front and there are already calls to bring the old development team back for the next game. When are Japanese companies going to learn that teaming up with Sony Music Entertainment is either not making a difference or actively hurting the potential for their products to reach wider audiences and not piss off the ones that they currently have. That's two strikes for Capcom with this and Street Fighter V, will there be a third and fourth one before Capcom decides this partnership was a huge mistake?

If you say so, I certainly don't see it but then I'm looking at the feedback and comparing money spent on advertising and marketing versus return and it either looks like it didn't make a difference or it resulted in a loss anyway not just dropping generic comments without any sort of insight. Reviews are pretty mixed with people criticizing the new cast and scenarios in particular.

No sense buying 8th gen console right now if ya can wait, with upgraded XB1 Slim coming in just 2 months or the PS4 Neo in autumn

The partnership itself isn't the problem especially within the case of Street Fighter V which itself was rushed through development.

So basically it's a combination of the problems people had with Justice For All and Apollo Justice.
