Episode 7:
Well, that was interesting I guess but mostly was buildup to the upcoming fight. The way the boys taunted about their theory makes it almost amusing.

Not a whole load of action this week but that interrogation scene was intimidating.

episode seven

The show really makes me cringe a bit when it tackles anything that isn't Qwenthur and Havia figuring stuff out. The whole sniper journalist thing was pretty awful and didn't really make any sense.

On the plus side, there was much of the idol Elite 'ho ho ho'-ing this episode, which was a good thing.

Well I kind of liked the more of a war being more than just killing bad guys. That the photographer tracked something he gave to the villagers, and stupidly thought that by just shooting at the troops he would be killing bad guys, but he actually boxed them in and created larger damage.

Also a note, Australia is bloody big, moving between those areas they. Interesting that when they were narrowing down they showed the eastern side, and then the finally got it down to the north central Australia parts which would be the driest parts of the country and the most remote, being the big patch of the upper middle areas on the bellow maps.

Episode 8:

Ha, I just find that Ho Ho Ho girl to be ridiculous at times with her taunting. Surprisingly good action this week when comparing the military against the Objects, which stand almost no chance against.

Definitely one of the better episodes for this series so far imo.
There's less comedy and actually some violence along with more focus on the mission. What a team and Justice is served...nicely done.

Episode 8

I do have a couple gripes for the episodes. The first is that I find the science of how they beat the Object to be a little suss, don't know how good a conductor water would be to take that much of a charge. The second is that the last part of the episode felt like it was supposed to be an entire episode itself with that guy sending another Object to take out Baby Magnum, what their boss was doing, and a clearer explanation of the politics at play. Although I could see that perhaps they felt that the story bogged down instead of making the arc feel more snappy, so they instead decided to put the entire episode's worth of plot into one confident piece with the music playing.

They managed to take down a third Object, this is going to go well. Although really they have been lucky more than anything and in choosing the right actions for weaknesses the enemy have made. If anything if the war is going to change Qwenther should actually inspect the policies of ally Objects so that they don't fall into the same problems. Actually that should be what many people would want him for, the dude is good at spotting weaknesses.

episode eight

The politician is evil? What kind of crazy world is this.

It's sad the second Object had so little screen time since it's gimmick seemed really cool. I'd rather have seen a more elaborate fight against it than the 0.5 gen. At least we finally get to see the princess win one.

Episode 9:

Probably the silliest episode up to this point. We got penguins, teasing, and posing. The Antarctica arc definitely has a strange vibe to it so far.

Episode 9

Oh my god, this episode was hilarious. From softcore porn to baby penguins stopping a gunfight with terrorists. A bit different to other episodes, but it felt like a great breath of fresh air. Normally I would not be that too into a scene with guys watching an adult video, but here it seemed to work. I think it was because it really was breaking up the monotony of what they had to do, actually making them productive, and the funny moment where they got discovered by her face appearing on the screen. I am almost positive that their commander actually placed the movie there for them.

And did they actually sneak some character motivation in? The reason Havia is trying to get honoured in the military is to actually push himself to become the head of his family, and it is actually in a bid to stop hostilities between his family and that of his fiancé. Did not even remember mention of him having a fiancé earlier, but seeing that he has been effectively acting out of love, makes up for some of his cruder acts. Especially with the way she talks which was translated as her saying "fricken" a lot, and then back in the other court worked well when he actually says the word.

I am going to say it now that it does feel like this show has earned some "bro" credit, something that feels a little too rare in friendship between two dudes in anime, another example being from Ore Monogatari.

I do have to say that one of my favorite facets of the show is Havia and Qwenthur's friendship. I really love the interactions between the two.

episode nine

I hope Havia's fiancée keeps popping up now that she's been introduced. She's amusing and as much as Havia and Qwenthur's broship is awesome, it was nice seeing him interact in a different way.

Speaking of new interaction types, it was nice to see Milinda getting in on the jokes as well.

The end of the episode has me pretty hyped for a fight against a stealthy, underwater Object.

Wonder if this was a planned recap, though. It kind of happened in an awkward spot (right after the start of an arc, instead of right before it).

Episode 10:

Geez, they poured a lot of weird camera angles for this episode. I mean, the pole dancing part was priceless. This felt more like a buildup for the upcoming mission though. The jokes are getting a bit old but I think the show is having more fun with itself and the characters. Glad to see Baby Magnum in action again.

I wonder how they'll use the physics of pole dancing to beat the enemy Object.

So by how she is acting, Milinda does not like this other guy because he flaunts his title over whatever she has, and is pretty much insulting her Baby Magnum and her abilities as just a way to make him look good. While judging Frolaytia, she is probably under pressure from her family and him to just become his wife, and his request has the undertones of her submitting and helping "their" combined future.

As much as I might normally have a problem with suddenly having a character pole dance, I really don't think it is a problem Frolaytia. She is not some mere sex object being taken advantage of, she is an intelligent and charismatic leader, who also takes pride in her femininity. From what I know doing that requires some work so she must keep fit. The pole scene along with and her in general teasing nature is just part of her nature at being in control of her own sexuality, and also seems to do it partial of motivating the two guys she has had to often go out into danger.

Frolaytia is 18, right? We don't really get a good idea of the ages of most of thee people in their teams, but could we actually assume that Qwenther, Havia and Melinda are the closest in her age, so it is kind of like a case of friends. What are their ages? The boys are 17, and Melinda is..... 14. Okay that makes me feel a little uncomfortable.

Melinda does seem to be taking the initiative to get closer to them. Along with her increased banter and openness to them she is becoming a better character.
